POEM INSPIRED BY VIAGRA SPAM MAIL

ABSOLUTION IN A FOREIGN LAND

The bricklaying Billie, a plebian versed in his field,
made a pilgrimage to Mecca, to brag about
his good Catechism compelled,
by his id.

The pathology of his insane motivations drove him to
an auspicious erratic decline,
where he would relinquish his tormented mind
amid the pessimism, and gladden
gloom to Allah.

His daily ritual, an allowance of insoluble opium,
which no longer sustained his soul in flight,
soon to divorce the romantic pathos, of
the war with outrageous fortune.

The loud speaking and illicit voice of society,
only befit to convulse serveralfold, his
philosophies, his idealization, and the scrutiny of
his worldview.

He would reciprocate with “Hamlet” on an
unearthly plain of his psyche, on
humanity’s somnolent ethics.

No adverse audience, to dichotomize, nor to hackle,
nor boo the guiding conservator, the falconry
of the messengers, of divine thought.

His travels in search for absolution, lead to Allah’s holly land,
the oceanic journey to Mecca,
expectations were propitious.

For acclamation of this world, no longer desired, or
needed.
